As an accountant and Income Tax preparer and E-Filer .. I have items that need to be filed with Canada Revenue Agency all the time. This is what I do.

I have a bin on an office shelf in my office that I keep everything that has to go to Canada Revenue Agency. Unless there are special deadlines or requests to file, I generally deliver all the documents either on the last day of the month, or on the weekend.

Sometimes, I’m just too busy to hand deliver and I call the courier to deliver an envelope directly, but with the price of couriers .. I prefer to just go on my own during the weekend and make an outing out of it .. where, if my wife wants to go for a car drive ..we’ll take Maxxie and Sophie for a ‘car-ride’ .. stopping at Tim Horton’s first. The store by our place has really nice drive-thru personnel so, when ever we drive through with our dogs .. they toss in a few extra TimBits! The drive downtown to our local Canada Revenue Agency office is just a 20 minute drive, and I am always more comfortable hand delivering packages with large amounts of money involved to the front desk or at the side wall “slot” drop off.

For those easily amused .. there is a button in the top right of my sidebar .. called .. Surf the HART way

You probably noticed it, because it’s been there for about 11 months now. It’s a random script that will select a random category of this blog and you can randomly read various topics by pure chance. I have a few category names that have no entries, so there may be a few error messages during your travels .. just click the button once again!

I have lots of data on my computer.

I keep all my phone numbers, my time records, my accounts receivable and billings information, my client’s data files for each year for each software that I use, my email records, my wedding pictures, my .mp3 and video collection, and other crap that is just too much to mention.

I am quite organized on my computer .. in fact, this is how I organize my C: Drive …. I am placing a | instead of the backslash so it will show up in here.

I must have done something sometime ago in my templates, and must have copied a section from my other blog over into this one .. According to my backups, it’s been at least 4 months like that - since January 6, 2006 .. the backup before that had it correctly listed … uggghh
