Memories Of My 2008 Vacation - so far

I’ve been on vacation since July 26th and return back to work August 13, 2008. In the meantime, as I start to go through all of my pictures that I have been taking ..

These are some of my favorites from Victoria Beach, Manitoba .. on Lake Winnipeg. We had some great days! We had some rainy days. We had some HOT HOT HOT days! We had some great hot days, but a little windy days. We went on walks, We went on bicycle rides. We went swimming. We boated down past Grand Beach towards the Red River docks. We had lots of Bakery. We had lots of BBQ. Did I mention we went to several fairs and craft shoes? And, despite all that .. my best pictures are probably boring to many - of the clouds and our dogs! Well .. the dogs will end up over at PapillonLvr.com/blog/ .. so you are stuck with the CLOUD pictures!~ :)

During storms, we watch movies we record in advance off Movie Channel
First time (for me ever) out on a boat on Lake Winnipeg. The WHOLE lake was like a sheet of glass. Unbelievable day.

I’m Officially On Vacation

Yes .. I’m on vacation now, and away from my business - on my laptop. Thank goodness I have hi-speed internet access with my EVDO card!

I thought I would do a little experiment.

I have painfully over the years setup my Eudora home email program with about 300 folders, and filters galore .. and rely much on my Spamnix add-on to sort the almost 1200 emails I receive a day.

Make Your Own Promotional Video

I had a little fun with a “new toy” this weekend .. I was playing with the site Animoto.com .. it’s a site where you can make a short video for 30 seconds, in about five minutes! It’s quite simple to use - here’s the promo video (it’s been around for a while)
