PyP-Bomb iPod/Guitar Amp

You da’ PyP-Bomb

It is said that in the land of the blind the one-eyed man is king… Well in the land of bad-ass battery powered portable amplifiers the PyP-Bomb is the el presidente of amps and it’s wailing on the graves of all those other lower amps with a massive guitar solo.

Made from durable PVC pipe this tiny little powerhouse dominates with sound. Simply jack in your iPod… or your guitar and crank the volume. The PyP-Bomb gets seriously loud with 18 watts of power blasting from its single enclosed speaker. Sound output is optimized for the iPod (or other external music source) when using the 3.5mm phono input jack. Plug your guitar into the standard 1/4″ input jack and the one-of-a-kind ELECTRIC/ACOUSTIC switch enables you to actively control the frequency response of the amplifier and cater it to the requirements of the instrument you are using. This way you can play anything from the hottest double-coil to your favorite preamped acoustic and get great sound. You get days of play time (under normal use) from the internal sealed liquid acid battery… with a recharge time of only 2-4 hours.

HTTPanties

What’s your status?

If you’ve ever run across a “403 Forbidden” error on a web site, it means you’ve either stumbled onto the wrong page, or you’ve been snooping where you shouldn’t be! One nice thing about the Hypertext Transfer Protocol that runs the web (HTTP for short) is that it includes helpful status codes such as “404 Not Found” when a resource can’t be found and “403 Forbidden” when the web site you’re knocking at does not want you to come in. One rarely seen status code is the elusive “200 OK” which basically means that everything went fine, and you’re seeing the page you’re supposed to be seeing!

We thought it sure would be handy if life came with status codes, but since it doesn’t, we did the next best thing and printed them on stuff you wear. But not just any old stuff – we had to try something different, and print them on undies. So we bring you HTTPanties for the discriminating woman who would prefer a web-savvy and somewhat-direct approach in the romance department.

Feeling frisky? Well then don the black “200 OK” panties and see where they take you. Alternatively, the white “403 Forbidden” style sends a very different and hopefully clear message. New for 2005 we bring you two more styles: 411 Length Required and 413 Requested Entity Too Large.

Automatic CD/DVD Shredder

ThinkGeek Gadgets – Automatic CD/DVD Shredder

Protect your sensitive data

Many of us have turned to the almighty paper shredder as a easy measure to keep prying eyes away from sensitive data. Now you can do the same for the data you have stored on your CDs and DVD-ROM disks as well.

Simply feed your disks into the CD/DVD shredder before disposing of them to ensure that the data on that disk will be unrecoverable. While you won’t end up with the confetti you find with a paper shredder, your disk surface will be sufficiently scratched and dimpled enough to prevent recovery of its data. The truly paranoid can run the disk through on repeated passes, though we’ve found that a single pass will suffice.

Model 434508

Safely dispose of CDs or DVDs
Quickly makes any CD or DVD completely unreadable
Permanently destroys all data
Powerful 12 Volt electric motor
Forward & reverse switch

  • Lazer Trip Wire

    Secure Your Cubicle

According to all the James Bond, Pink Panther, and other spy or “heist” movies, valuables are always guarded by glistening red beams. Cross a beam and a loud alarm sounds, which normally summons scores of security guards, ninjas, or robot henchmen. Wouldn’t it be nice if there was an inexpensive way to get this sort of security for your cubicle?

Luckily, we found the Lazer Trip Wire – a wonderful addition to low-cost personal property protection. It doesn’t use lasers (hence, Lazer), but rather infrared light beams. You get three Lazer units, one primary and two secondary (each with a sensitivity switch to compensate for different light conditions). Clamp the Lazer units anywhere, and just align each Sender (IR light) to each Receptor (light sensor). Use only two Lazer units, or set up a perimeter with three or more units (multiple sets can be combined for one major invisible protection system). When all the units are connected, a nice voice will announce “System Armed.” Break one beam, though, and an alarm will sound, alerting everyone to the security breach. Ninjas and robot henchman, sold separately.

Please keep in mind, this is a toy. It works really well, but you shouldn’t rely on it to protect your gold bars or top secret documents. Get a Ninja or a Wizard for that (also, sold separately).

    1 Master Unit
    2 Secondary Units
Mist Bottle (so you can “see” the “lazer beams”)
Requires: 6 AAA batteries (not included)
    Approx Dimensions of Lazer Unit: 5.5” x 3.5” x 2”
